Head in the Clouds

Above the Cloud 

thoughts swimming,

writer's block,

words not coming,

but i'm above the clouds,

blue skies below me,

blue skies above me,

a fluffy blanket of white

swearing to protect me

if I was to fall now...

above the clouds,

flying with the birds,

chatter of passengers,

floating in the air,

floating above the clouds...

Jump

Bright

white

I want to jump,

jump into the clouds,

fly across the blue sky,

and I want to fall against the mist,

to feel the wind

against my skin...

But alas, I am stuck inside the plane.
