About Me

Ciao, Darlings.

I breathe poetry. I love reading it, I love writing it, I take it in like one might take in air. I drink it up like one might drink up their favorite beverage. It's my life. It's what I love.

I am wanderer. A dreamer. A lover of God. I am a novelist. A poet. A storyteller. I long to explore the world and meet new people and travel. But I also love staying in my bedroom all day and writing.

I love fall. The leaves changing color, the weather just right, the gray clouds, the rain falls and the dry lightning. I love sitting out on the porch and watching the clouds roll by as the sky darkens and the fall breeze tangles my curly tresses.

I love coffee. I don't like it just for the caffeine. I like the warmth and happiness it brings. I like the smiles it puts on peoples faces. I love the artistry involved in making a latte. And the joy it brings when one can pull a perfect shot.

I love music. The sound of the ebony and black keys as I play the Sonata that I thought was impossible to play a few months back. The joy it brings when I finally master that one measure after working on it for two weeks.

I love dancing. I love twirling in a pirouette. Turning my feet out to first position. The feeling after I finally get that one part in the lyrical dance right. When I am on pointe.

I love life. Some times life is boring and becomes hard to live to it's fullest. But life is a gift. Something beautiful. And I want to write about that beauty. Some times it is too hard to explain in conventional ways. Some times you just need to put down that beauty onto paper as poetry. And that's my life. It's the way I describe the beauty around me. It's the way I try and live to my fullest.
