melodic beings float to life
on
the vibration waves of the air
and
it doesn't seem very fair
that
some tunes get to be happy
while
others have to live sad
but
without these differences
everything
would be the same
and
oh how boring that would be
but
these fingertips of snow white
play
these keys of ivory and black
making
this melodic, melancholy tune
and
it's a darling thing,
and
it's a lovely thing
to
hear the music of the saints
while
these fingers of snow white
play
those keys of black and ivory
hallucinations
of happiness are found
and
a peace that will always abound
